Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and driven public relations account executive to join our growing team. This is a client-facing role for someone who excels at storytelling, media relations, builds trusted relationships with media, and understands how to navigate the evolving news landscape to deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead tailored public and media relations campaigns for clients across a range of industries and markets (technology, life sciences, energy, and more) - locally, nationally, and globally.

• Identify strategic media opportunities and proactively pitch compelling stories that resonate with target audiences.
\n
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and producers across key media verticals.
\n
• Plan and execute press tours, briefings, and targeted media outreach that align with client goals.
\n
• Monitor and analyze media coverage, offering actionable insights to optimize campaign effectiveness.
\n
• Stay current on industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging news cycles to inform timely media engagement.
\n
• Provide meaningful contributions during client and internal meetings, ensuring strategic alignment and execution.
\n
• Collaborate closely with leadership to deliver high-touch service and exceed client expectations.
\n

Qualifications 

\n
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
\n
• At least 3+ years of experience in public relations, media relations, or a similar role within an agency environment.
\n
• Proven track record of securing media coverage and managing successful client campaigns.
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to craft compelling stories and communicate effectively with clients, media, and team members.
\n
• Strong project management skills and the ability to balance multiple client campaigns with poise and professionalism.
\n
• Proficiency in PR tools (i.e. Meltwater, Muck Rack, Cision). 
\n

Salary Range

$75,000-$100,000
